Australia’s WACA cricket ground in Perth will no longer hosts matches involving England, India and South Africa starting 2018-19.

According to plan released by Western Australia Cricket Association (WACA), these matches will be moved to new 60, 000 seater stadium in Perth.

WACA will play host to matches that only draw smaller crowds and Sheffield Shield matches. But the Big Bash League matches will move to the new ground.

The new stadium is expected to be finished by 2018.

This means that the 2017 Ashes, scheduled between November to January, will be the last played on the WACA.

The current Perth pitch is considered as one the fastest in the world.
