With an eye at Rogers Cup final, Sania Mirza celebrates Independence Day
Sania Mirza celebrated country’s 68th Independence Day on Saturday as she posted her picture of holding the tri-color on Twitter.
“Khel Ratna, in the semi finals at the Rogers cup and a very Happy Independence Day India. It’s a good day.” posted the Indian tennis star alongside her picture.
Sania Mirza is busy playing Rogers Cup in Toronto where she has already reached the semi-finals.
She was honoured with ‘Khel Ratna’ recently for a successful year where she won a Wimbledon title in women’s doubles.
