Yuvraj Singh remembers ‘sad’ days, thanks mother Shabnam Singh for her presence

Yuvraj Singh, the attacking Indian batsman in a recent Facebook post acknowledged his mother Shabnam Singh for being by her side all along his fight with cancer.

“I was very sad, sad that I had to go through such things. But my mother was there and her presence made it a bit easier…” wrote Yuvraj.

Yuvraj was diagnosed with Lung cancer  after the World cup 2011 and had to shift to America for treatment.

The left-handed batsman who was the man of tournament for World Cup 2011 had to undergo chemotherapy.

During his treatment Yuvraj was well supported by his family and friends.
