Saina Nehwal storms into maiden final at World Badminton Championship

India’s Saina Nehwal defeated Indonesia’s Lindaweni Fanetri 21-17 21-17 in the semi-final of the World Badminton Championship on Saturday.

With this win Saina stormed into her maiden final at the Worlds which means she has also assured herself a silver.

Earlier on Friday, Saina Nehwal defeated China Wang Yihan 21-17, 15-21, 21-16 in a pulsating quarter-final.

Saina is scheduled to play Spain’s Carolina Marn in the summit clash on Sunday.
