Sania Mirza and Martina Hingis were ousted from the WTA Rogers Cup as the top seeds lost he semifinal in straight sets to Caroline Garcia and Katarina Srebotnik, in Toronto.
The Indo-Swiss team lost 3-6 2-6 to fourth seeded opponents in the last-four match of the USD 2,513,000 Premier hard court tournament.

Sania and her Swiss partner broke their rivals twice but lost their serve five times in the match which lasted only 59 minutes. Both the pairs saved four break points each.
Sania and Hingis won 41 points to 54 of their rivals. They shared USD 32,520 and earned 350 points each.
