Saina Nehwal, aiming to become the first Indian player to win a gold at the World Championship, was on Sunday left disappointed as she lost to World No.1 and defending champion Carolina Marin of Spain.
Saina lost the final of the women’s singles at the World Badminton Championship 16-21, 19-21 in Jakarta.
