Virat Kohli ‘grateful’ to fans after completing 7 years at international scene
Virat Kohli is back in Lanka, this tIme as the skipper of the Indian Test team.
Virat Kohli, India Test captain on Tuesday acknowledged the 7-year completion at the international scene as he thanked his fans on Twitter.
“From 18-8-2008 Dambulla to 18-8-2015 Colombo, 7 years! And this is just the beginning. Grateful and Blessed, ” tweeted the The 26-year-old.
Kohli made his debut against Sri Lanka at Dambulla and managed to score just 12 runs on the same day in 2008.

But since then, Kohli has never looked back and amassed 6,586 runs in ODIs while he has 2,667 runs in Test cricket.
Kohli went on to become the captain of India Test squad after MS Dhoni decided to hang his boots from the longer format of the game.
