Ranji Trophy 2015, Group C: Saurashtra beat Jharkhand inside two days after Ravindra Jadeja takes 13 wickets

Saurashtra defeated Jharkhand by eight wickets on the second day of their Ranji Trophy Group C match at Madhavrao Scindia cricket ground.
The hosts clinched six points with this victory over Jharkhand, who were bowled out for 168 and 122 in the first and second innings respectively.

Saurashtra player Ravindra Jadeja, who took six wickets in the first innings, also took seven in the second innings on a spin-friendly track.
Kamlesh Makwana clinched three wickets and supported Jadeja.
Saurashtra, who had taken a lead of 37 runs in their first innings after being bowled out for 205, needed 85 runs to win the game.
The hosts achieved the target by losing two wickets.
Avi Barot was dismissed for 8 while Sagar Jogiyani got out on 46. Cheteshwar Pujara (23) and Chirag Jani (8) remained unbeated as they saw their team home.
In the first game, Saurashtra had defeated Tripura by an innings and 118 runs to bag a bonus point.
Jadeja has now picked up 24 wickets in just two games in this Ranji trophy season.

Gangta’s ton put HP in command against J&K
Middle-order batsman Nikhil Gangta scored an unbeaten century to hand Himachal Pradesh the crucial first innings lead over Jammu and Kashmir on the second day of their Group C Ranji Trophy cricket match.
Gangta made a strokeful unbeaten 111 off 158 balls with the help of 12 boundaries and five hits over the fence to help Himachal Pradesh post 300 for five in their first innings at stumps on the second day in reply to Jammu and Kashmir’s 293.

Services amass 403 against Goa
Services batsmen continued to dominate the Goa bowling attack as they amassed 403 all out against the hosts in their first Innings on the second day of the Ranji Trophy Group C match played at GCA ground.
In reply, Goa were straightaway put under pressure as they lost two early wickets to end the day at 63/2, still trailing by 340 runs with eight wickets in hand.

Rohan Prem’s double ton propels Kerala
Rohan Prem proved to be lone ranger with a monumental double hundred before Kerala were all out for 401 in their Group C Ranji Trophy cricket match against Hyderabad.
At stumps on the second day at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad were 40 for one, still 361 runs behind in their first innings.
