Vijender Singh made a rocking start to his pro boxing career as he defeated Sonny Whiting in three rounds by a TKO to begin on a winning note on Saturday in Manchester.
The Indian boxer dominated from the start and after a promising but a slow first round, he started to land punch on Whiting’s face.

In the third round, Vijender was easily the better boxer and he claimed the win by a knock-out.
The crowd roared at Vijender’s entry into the ring. The boxer was wearing a white kit which had the Indian tri-colour printed on it. Beats of bhangra welcomed the Indian boxer.
