Delhi CM Kejriwal orders probe into DDCA’s alleged financial irregularities

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday set up a two-member panel to probe the irregularities in Delhi District Cricket Association. Kejriwal has asked the sports secretary to submit his report within two days.
Kejriwal took this step after former cricketers, led by Bishan Singh Bedi, met the Chief Minister in August, and asked him to take stock of the alleged irregularities.

DDCA is already in the docks as they are entangled in non-payment of dues with regard to entertainment tax. They may also lose the opportunity to host the fourth Test between India and South Africa scheduled for December 3.
On Wednesday, The Indian Express has reported that DDCA was planning to invite Arvind Kejriwal as chief guest at the India vs South Africa fourth Test match to be held at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium.
