N Srinivasan lose ICC job, Shashank Manohar to take over

BCCI on Monday removed N Srinivasan from the post of International Cricket Council (ICC) after which BCCI incumbent president Shashank Manohar will fill in for him.
Earlier, The Indian Express had reported that the Chennai strongman is likely to face the axe.
“A consensus among board members, in favour of new BCCI president Shashank Manohar taking over as ICC chief, is expected to be reached at their annual general meeting in Mumbai on November 9,” the report had said.
The report also mentioned that after the change of guard in the BCCI, the organization is desperately looking for the clean up job and the reforms is on the top of the agenda especially after the BCCI’s own tournament IPL was entangled with corruption and spot-fixing.
The report said that former India cricketers like Sunil Gavaskar and current India Team Director Ravi Shastri, who enjoy lucrative commentary stint might also lose their contracts.
