The BCCI Disciplinary Committee, which consists of BCCI chief Shashank Manohar, Niranjan Shah and Jyotiraditya Scindia as its members, held a meeting to discuss IPL match fixing issue on Monday in Mumbai.
Ajit Chandila and Hiken Shah, the two cricketers involved in the fixing scandal, appeared before the committee in person.
Both cricketers have been given time till January 4, 2016 to file a written response.
“BCCI asked me the same questions what Delhi Police had asked me and I replied to them. I am hopeful that I will get justice. God is my lawyer and everybody knows what Delhi High Court had said,” Chandila said.
“I have lot of cricket left in me for my state and country,” he added.
The committee also decided to issue a notice to former Pakistan umpire Asad Rauf to respond to the fixing charges against him.
The next meeting of the committee will take place on January 5 next year.
