We are fighting corruption, not any individual: Kirti Azad on DDCA row
“This is not a fight against any individual, we are only fighting against corruption,” said Azad.
Despite strict orders from party high command, BJP leader and former cricketer Kirti Azad on Sunday addressed press conference to expose corruption in Delhi cricket body – DDCA. Azad alleged huge corruption in the DDCA during the tenure of Arun Jaitley, as its chief.
Ignoring his party’s warning Azad said, “This is not a fight against any individual, we are only fighting against corruption.”
He also said that he is a big fan of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and praised his government’s action against corruption.
“I’m a big fan of our PM and his campaign against corruption. Steps that he has taken against corruption should be lauded. There is no personal animosity against anyone. My campaign is against corruption,” said Azad in the conference which was also attended by Bishan Singh Bedi.
