Yuvraj Singh, Mohammed Shami return to India squad for Australia tour
Team India veterans like Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh and Ashish Nehra were picked for India’s tour to Australia on Saturday in New Delhi.
Three of them were picked in the T20 team which gave a clear indication that the senior players can well be representing India at the ICC WT20. However, the selectors didn’t pick the trio for the One Dayers.
Surprisingly, Suresh Raina was dropped from the ODI side but was retained in the T20 side.
Stuart Binny also faced the axe and doesn’t feature in ODI as well as T20 side.
India are scheduled to play five ODI and three T20Is on Australia tour starting January 12th.
Once the One Dayers end, India will start their build up to T20 World Cup in home as they are scheduled to play Asia Cup, which is turned into 20-over a side tournament, soon after Australia tour, followed by the ICC WT20 in March.
