The IAAF Ethics Board on Monday provisionally suspended Athletics Kenya (AK) CEO Isaac Mwangi “in the interests of the integrity of the sport”.
Mwangi, who could not be immediately reached for comment, was suspended for 180 days pending investigation of a complaint made against him in relation to “potential subversion of the anti-doping control process in Kenya”.
Mwangi, who says he has done nothing wrong, stood down as AK CEO last week, saying he was anxious to have his name cleared.
