Irfan Pathan marries Jeddah-based model Safa Baig

Baroda all-rounder Irfan Pathan married a 21-year-old model from Jeddah last Thursday in a low-key wedding ceremony in Mecca.

Irfan today shared a picture of him along with his wife Safa Baig on his Twitter and Facebook accounts.

His message read: “Entering probably the most beautiful phase of my life.We both wish to thank everyone for your wishes & #blessings.”

The Times of India reported that the couple met two years back in Dubai and got recently engaged with blessings from both families.

Safa is the daughter of Mirza Farooq Baig. She is currently working for a PR firm and is also a popula nail artist, the report adds.
