New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first and after a decent start, the Kiwi batsmen lost momentum and were left tottering at 117 for 5. They eventually ended their innings at 142 at the cost of 8 wickets. In reply, Australia too didn’t look comfortable and kept losing wickets at equal intervals.
