Pakistan began their ICC World T20 campaign with an emphatic win over Bangladesh as they thumped the Bangladesh Tigers by 55 runs.
Having won the toss, Pakistan opted to bat first and hammered the Bangladesh bowling attack to score a huge 201 runs at the cost of 5 wickets.
Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez scored fifties apiece during the course of the innings. If that wasn’t enough, Shahid Afridi unleashed from the word go to score 49 from 19 balls.
After a fascinating batting display, Pakistan bowlers took charge of the match to clinch victory despite Shakib Al Hasan scoring a fifty.
