Seamer Dhammika Prasad dismissed openers Khurram Manzoor (10) and Ahmed Shehzad (8).

Herath then snared Azhar Ali (10), Younis Khan (8), captain Misbah-ul-Haq (3) and Asad Shafiq (32) to finish with a career-best haul of 13-178.

Pakistan ended Sri Lanka’s second innings on 282.
