Under fire after series loss, MS Dhoni gets backing of Suresh Raina

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is under criticism after the consecutive loss of series abroad. Questions are being asked about his leadership. People are lobbying to adjourn him from captaincy. Dhoni too is aware of these developments and made his views clear in the press conference after losing the series to Bangladesh. “I was never really in the line to become captain, but it was given to me. Now if you take it away from me I will still be happy…” he said without mincing his words.

In these times his long term friend and teammate Suresh Raina has come to his support. Raina posted a picture of him celebrating with Dhoni. The picture is of the Tri-Series in 2013 when Dhoni blasted two maximums in the last over and led India to victory against Sri Lanka. Raina has titled the picture “Respect”and thus has assured his support for captain cool.
