In a development to the India-Pakistan World T20 game, the BCCI is shifting the March 19 match from Dharamsala to Kolkata.
After PCB decided to delay the team’s departure to India, the Indian board had to think about the issue and with the politics surrounding the match not ready to die, the BCCI has decided to shift the match.

The Himachal Pradesh government has said that hosting the match in Dharamsala hurts the sentiments of the families whose soldiers died in the Pathankot Air Base attack.
The development was confirmed by ICC CEO Dave Richardson on Wednesday. He said, “India-Pakistan match at WT20 will take place in Kolkata, Eden Gardens on the same date and time. The decision has been taken for security reasons after serious consideration.”
