Brazil star Neymar says his World Cup dream was “interrupted by one play” but “is not over yet,” and he hopes to be celebrating the title along with his teammates at the Maracana Stadium next Sunday.

In a video released by the Brazilian football confederation on Saturday, Neymar thanked fans and friends for all the support in this ‘very difficult moment’ for him.

Neymar said he didn’t have “words to describe what has been going through my head and my heart.”

He said his “dream is not over yet. It was interrupted by one play, but it will continue and I know that my teammates will do whatever possible so I can fulfill my dream of being a champion.”
