Sachin Tendulkar paid rich tribute to Virender Sehwag who announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on Tuesday. Tendulkar and Sehwag formed a destructive ODI pair for India in the limited overs, and the duo played a crucial role in India’s 2011 World Cup triumph.
“Virender Sehwag leaves his signature on the game with his distinctive approach and tremendous achievements. Had the best seat during most of his superlative performances on field. Loved his instinctive approach to batting and to life. Am sure Viru will do many more things which brings joy and smiles to our faces,” Tendulkar wrote on his official Facebook page after the Delhi dasher announced his retirement on Twitter.
