India off-spinner opened up about various things in an interview to BCCI. Here are the excerpts from the interview in which he reveals his favourite music and musician, food, and lots of other things…

Favourite music, musician

Ashwin: Honestly I don’t listen to lot of English music. I listen to lot of Bollywood music and my favourite singer is Shoaib Bhushan and my favourite musician is from down south is AR Rahman

Favourite movies

Ashwin: My favourite movie is 3 Idiots. It’s a Hindi movie and I also have a great collection of Hollywood movies and my favourite movie is Vertical Limit

Toughest subject in school

Not good at few things. Picked it up later. I was not great at math when I started and then I became alright later on. Just had to get better because I had to give maths exam a good try because if I had to pass the universities I had to pass the math exam as well. So I had to get better. Didn’t have a choice

Favourite comic character

Ashwin: Always had a big… big thing for the Batman and I would like to take batman dress along with the entire powers

Favourite cuisine

Ashwin: Anything that’s sweet is my favourite but generally I like chocolates. The Dairy Milk ones or something I look for all the time

Cooking Skills

Ashwin: I hope my wife is not watching. If she is not watching it then I would have said that I cook but I don’t. I am very terrible at it
