Prime Minister Narendra Modi wishes Team India for World Cup 2015
As the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 set to begin on February 14, Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the Indian cricket team good luck for the mega-event.
Modi tweeted saying “As the 2015 Cricket World Cup begins, my wishes to Indian Cricket Team. .Khelo dil se, World Cup lao fir se”

The opening ceremony of the World Cup took place in Christchurch and Melbourne on Thursday with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key declaring the event open.
Modi wished every Indian player participating in the World Cup by a series of tweet starting with captain MS Dhoni, followed by vice-captain Virat Kohli.

India begin their campaign on Feb 15 when they clash with arch-rivals Pakistan in Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
India are the defending champions while Pakistan lost to India in the semi-finals of the 2011 World Cup which was held in the sub-continent.
