Kevin Pietersen expressed his desire to play for England once again on Tuesday.
England lost the second Ashes Test against Australia by a 405-run margin at Lord’s on Sunday.
Pietersen, who is currently in the Caribbean, took to twitter to express his disbelief on missing out on representing England once again and called it ‘silly’. He also said that the team has some real top order issues.
Pietersen has played 104 Tests and scored 8181 runs at an average of 47. 28. ECB dumped him in early 2014 on saying ‘he is an egoistic individual’ after England had a disastrous Ashes tour to Australia losing all their Tests matches.
Deep in thought right now…ridiculous that I’m lying on a beach when I should be in UK prepping for the 3rd Test! So silly really! Sad! 👎🏻

Batting as well as ever & the team have huge issues with top order! What a waste, just lying on a beach! I wish I could help! 💪🏻
