India advanced to Davis Cup World Group Play-offs following a 3-2 win over New Zealand in the Asia/Oceania Group I Davis Cup tie, in Christchurch on Sunday.

Yuki Bhambari and Somdev Devverman won their respective matches on the last day to hand India the win.
