Pakistan off-spinner Saeed Ajmal is to again undergo tests on his suspected bowling action, and will miss at least the first of three one-day games against Sri Lanka.

The Pakistan Cricket Board says Ajmal’s bowling action will be tested at the National Cricket Centre in Brisbane on Monday.

He was reported for a suspect bowling action during the first test against Sri Lanka at Galle earlier this month. It was the second time he had been reported at international level, but tests in 2009 cleared his action.

The PCB says Dr. Sohail Saleem will be travelling to Brisbane from Lahore “to oversee the entire process of testing and analysis.”

Ajmal has 174 wickets in 34 test matches and 182 in 110 ODIs.
