Clashes broke between two rival group of spectators during the 33rd over of the Sri Lanka innings during the third ODI between Sri Lanka and Pakistan third ODI.
Sri Lankan commandos were rushed in to contain the situation and ensure safety of the players. This resulted in the suspension of the match for a while.
Thisara Perera and Dhanuka Pathirana of Sri lanka were on the crease when the incident happened. The security forces were able to successfully contain the situation and none of the players were injured.
