Axar Patel’s destructive spell of 0/4 helped India ‘A’ crush South Africa ‘A’ by an innings and 81 runs on the fourth day of the second unofficial Test at Wayanad on Friday.
Coming out to bat on Day 4, the visitors collapsed as none of the top-order batsmen resisted. They were reduced to 48/6 before they were bundled out for a paltry 76.

Earlier, Patel contributed with the bat as he scored 69 runs in the rain-affected day 3 to push India ‘A’ total to 417/8 besides claiming the figures of 5/92 with the ball in the first innings of the match.
