KKR off spinner Sunil Narine’s action is cleared by the BCCI on Sunday.

Narine underwent a bowling test at Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai on Thursday on BCCI’s insistence.

Previously, Narine was cleared by the ICC in March.

However, BCCI on their part asked Narine to undergo another test as per the rule book.

Narine’s participation in IPL was in jeopardy and his team KKR also threatened to pull out of the million-dollar franchise tournament had he been sidelined.

Narine’s bowling came under heavy scrutiny in Champions League last September.

Now with his action cleared by BCCI, he will take part in IPL as scheduled.
