As South Africa’s Dale Steyn breached the 400-wicket mark just a few days back in the second Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka, his Sunrisers teammate, Shikhar Dhawan wished him for his latest success on Twitter.
But the elegant left-hander made a gaffe as he didn’t realise that he has typed 4000 instead of 400 in his tweet.
The explosive opener tweeted: “Congratulations @DaleSteyn62 on crossing another milestone. #4000.”
The elegant left-hander was quick to react.
“Sorry guys for the typo. Hope @DaleSteyn62 cruises from 400 to 4000 wickets also” Dhawan rectified on the micro-blogging site.
Sorry guys for the typo. Hope @DaleSteyn62 cruises from 400 to 4000 wickets also.
